What Did They Say?

These are all random on-the-spot interviews, with seasoned professionals, can't wait to hear there answers 🤔😄
Happy 4/20 to those who celebrate the occasion, and Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates the Christian holiday. Well here is my second interview with a gentleman who I met through the business. in my opinion he is one of the hardest working and dedicated men I know he is a true car guy. He is in the automotive detailing service business and he has been around the block a few times and knows his shit for sure. Let me introduce Mr. Eric Golubic owner at Only Detailers.

  • Eric's Background: Eric is 44 years old, from Canfield, Ohio, and has nearly 40 years of experience with cars, with 25 years professionally in the business. He worked at a Chrysler Jeep dealership in Bordman, Ohio.

  • Detailing Services: Modern detailing includes interior, exterior, engine cleaning, paint corrections, ceramic coatings, wheel coatings, undercarriage cleaning, rust treatment, and window tinting.

  • Challenges: Eric faced a difficult situation with a struggling detail shop in Maryland. He also had a "worst moment" doing an undercarriage job on a Rolls-Royce.

  • Future of the Industry: Eric believes detailing will remain essential despite the rise of electric vehicles and changes in paint technology. He emphasizes that environmental factors will always affect vehicles.

  • Personal Preferences: Eric's favorite car movie is "Gone in 60 Seconds" (because of Eleanor), he prefers NHRA drag racing (though he also likes Street Outlaws), and his dream car is a Bugatti. He prefers American muscle over European machines.

  • "Only Detailers": Eric's brand is "Only Detailers," which focuses on showcasing the passion for cars and the lifestyle around detailing. It has a presence on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. He has also applied for a TikTok store.

  • Advice: Eric would advise his 20-year-old self to be mindful of who he associates with you are the sum of who you keep company with.

When did you realize you were a car guy? The first time I played with a Hot Wheels car

How did you get in the car biz? at 20 with Jeep Chryslar detailing at a local dealership

How long have you been the biz? 25 and some what years

What is your worst moment in business? Detailing a 30 sumtn Rolls-Royce and destroying the clients driveway, I had to do the car and the driveway

Greatest failure, and how did you bounce back? Moving to Maryland to help run a shop it turned out to be a disaster, and I am on the tailend of it now and that was 2023

Greatest moment in the biz? I had lots of good moments but I have not reached my greatest yet!

Tell me about the clothing line startup, Sure I have a clothing line that is dedicated to the detailers life, not just the profession but the entire lifestyle it is everything detailing life style.

Where can people buy it? People can get a hold of me on TikTok @onlydetails1

Give me a funny moment? That is a easy one, I once had the privilege of detailing the 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196R and when I was finished they asked me if I wanted to take it for a ride, well hell yeah! i jumped in and they pushed me for about 20ft, the car doesn't run not to mention it is a $53 million dollar car.

Well I can say this he has been through some difficult time but as long as I know him he doesn't tough times get to him. Anyway hope ya'll enjoy this segment, its no secrete I am a rookie blogger but I do enjoy the topics and like the people who follow me
